The Chromosome is a 2-in-1 Overdrive pedal featuring two distinct overdrives sounds that allow you to completely craft your own sound.
 
This pedal is a result of something we just weren't able to find anywhere else. It is a culmination of two different overdrive types that react together in a phenomenal way, allowing from almost clean treble boosts, to edge of fuzz type breakup!
 
Drive 1 is a mostly transparent overdrive that takes on a bit of a cranked tweed style when the gain is increased. Great for adding just a bit extra to your drive, and adding a nice sparkle.
Setting the gain to zero and presence 100% creates a unique almost dirty treble boost type sound - This is a must try!
- Fat switch works directly with the presence knob, if presence knob is off the fat switch will have no effect.
 
Drive 2 is inspired by a D-style overdrive. We made modifications to adjust some of the frequencies, and gain structure, which allows it to play nicer when both sides are active. We flavored this style to what we feel was the best version!
 
Each channel can be run independently or in series for an aggressive distortion, fully rounded, that keeps its clarity and cut.
